No Weapons are allowed in the Courthouse, and there is no smoking or vaping permitted in the courthouse.  There is no eating, drinking, or chewing gum in the courtroom. 

Proper courtroom attire is required. Inappropriate attire includes:

  • Clothing with obscene Words, Images or Messages Promoting Unlawful Behavior or Disrespectful of the Judicial Process;
  • Hats
  • Tank Tops, Halter Tops, Midriff Shirts, or Revealing Clothing
  • Ripped jeans
  • Shorts
  • Pajamas
  • Non-Prescription Sunglasses

While in the courtroom, sit quietly when Court is in session. Do not talk or whisper. The Court proceedings are being transcribed or recorded and noise can interfere with the preparation of this important record.

All beepers, cellular telephones, and electronic devices must be turned off before entering the courtroom. The reading of newspapers, or books in the courtrooms is not allowed.

Court Marshals/Bailiffs are responsible for security and enforcement of courtroom standards.
